Ei Electronics, headquartered in Shannon, Co. Clare, is one of Ireland’s leading indigenous electronics manufacturers, specialising in the design and production of residential fire and carbon monoxide detection systems. With a workforce of over 1,250 employees worldwide, the company has experienced significant growth over the past 35 years and operates a large-scale manufacturing and commercial facility at its Shannon headquarters.

As part of a major building services upgrade, Kelly RAC delivered a full HVAC and refrigeration solution for a multi-storey commercial facility on site. The project involved the design, supply and installation of high-efficiency chillers, chilled water systems, air handling units (AHUs), low-noise fan coil units and full Building Management System (BMS) integration to provide intelligent system control and monitoring.

Following a detailed site assessment, a bespoke system design was developed to suit the building’s specific load requirements, zoning and operational use. Installation works were carried out in close coordination with the main contractor and other service providers, ensuring all systems were fully integrated and delivered in line with the project programme.
