The systems were installed to support stable indoor environmental conditions while meeting the operational and energy efficiency requirements associated with modern data centre environments. All works were delivered in coordination with the wider mechanical services team, ensuring seamless integration with the building services infrastructure and compliance with project specifications.
Project Name:
Echelon DUB 11 Data Centre
Location:
Clondalkin, Dublin
The Echelon DUB11 Data Centre forms part of the expanding Echelon Clondalkin data centre campus in Dublin, a major hub for digital infrastructure supporting cloud services, data storage and global connectivity. Located in Clondalkin Industrial Estate near the M50, the campus is designed to accommodate large-scale data processing facilities that support the growing demand for data capacity across Europe. The DUB11 facility is a two-storey data centre of approximately 24,667 m², forming part of a multi-building campus designed to deliver high-capacity digital infrastructure and reliable IT operations.
As part of the mechanical services works for the project, Kelly RAC completed HVAC installation services on behalf of Jones Engineering Group, working in accordance with the design prepared by Homan O’Brien. The scope of works included the installation and commissioning of a Daikin VRV air conditioning system, providing efficient and reliable climate control for designated areas within the facility.
